Our Background
Lark Education consultancy was established by Nkono Yeeko in the year 2017. When Nkono Yeeko became a head teacher in 2015, he realized he had no teachers to teach reading using the phonics approach which he greatly believed in. Additionally, the phonics books on the market were not only too expensive but also had limited content. So, to bridge the gap, Nkono Yeeko embarked on a journey of creating reading resources and offering support to teachers in various schools to become better phonics instructors. Since then, he has never looked back and that gave birth to Lark Academic Solutions Uganda

What we do
Lark Academic Solutions Uganda is an education consultancy which offers support to schools, individual teachers, parents and children especially at the levels of Nursery and Primary. We do capacity building for school owners, staff and parents through offering workshops on different aspects. Our workshops are either online or conducted physically in schools. We also hold one on one sessions with clients to offer them any kind of support needed in relation to running of schools, managing staff, teaching and supporting children from home among other things.
At Lark Academic Solutions, we also create reading resources for learners of ages 3 – 13 years and guides used by teachers and parents in helping children learn to read with ease. Currently, we operate under three different entities; Lark Phonics Academy Lark Prose and Poetry Lark Education Consultancy
